Singer Harry Styles was recently performing at one of his concerts when he gave fans a scare. The 32-year-old singer briefly collapsed on stage during his recent concert at Wembley Stadium in London. The singer appeared to choke on water while he was performing before falling onto the stage; however, he quickly recovered and completed the show.

According to People, the incident allegedly took place on Friday while he was performing his hit song As It Was. While performing his signature "whale" move, wherein he sprays water into the air, the singer seemingly appeared to choke on the water that got stuck in his mouth.

Soon after, Styles fell onto his back on the stage and was seen coughing repeatedly while lying on the stage. Videos shared by concertgoers on social media showed him lying on the stage, while he covered his mouth with his fist as he tried to catch his breath.

The singer continued to remain on the floor for around 17 seconds before getting back on his feet. The singer then waved to the audience, reassuring the audience that he was okay, and then went on to finish the performance.

Notably, the incident occurred at a time when an intense heatwave has hit the UK. A BBC report citing the Met Office, temperatures reached 37.3 degrees Celsius (99 degrees Fahrenheit) in Suffolk. Meanwhile, London recorded highs of around 97 degrees Fahrenheit.

Social media left concerned

Although Harry Styles appeared to recover quickly, the incident has left many fans worried about his health. Social media began flooding with messages expressing concern for the singer's well-being after videos of the moment seemingly went viral.

Putting all fears to rest, Styles returned to Wembley the next day for his subsequent scheduled concert, confirming that he had recovered from the brief onstage scare.

Harry Styles is currently performing his Together, Together world tour across UK in support of his latest album, Kiss All the Time. After his Wembley residency, the singer is all set to take the tour to Brazil, Mexico, the United States and Australia.
