I'm glad I waited until older age to become mother, says Halle Berry

The 46-year-old actress insists she is able to care for her baby daughter much better now than if she were in her twenties.u00a0Berry gave birth to Nahla Ariela Aubry in March 2008 and claims the maturity she''s gained with age has made her more equipped for motherhood.

"I''m a much better mother at 46... than if I were like, 21 or 25," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying during an interview on German chat show Wetten dass...? on Saturday.

"[At that age] I was just a little baby just trying to figure out who I was, let alone having the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I''m so glad I waited," she added.u00a0
