According to sources, while the 26-year-old actress appreciates everything Sheen has done for her she would never take him as a mentor, TMZ.com reported.

The sources said that Lohan has said that she knows her life is "out of control," but doesn't think the precept, "It takes one to know one," is the way to go.
Sheen, who gave Lohan 100,000 dollars to help her with back taxes, had earlier said that he thinks she needed a mentor and believes that he's the man for the job.

Lohan, who co-starred with Sheen in âScary Movie 5,' said that she talks to him from time to time but he has no business talking about her to the media.
The sources further added that Lohan has been regularly meeting with a therapist and feels the consistency has helped.
