Actress Sydney Sweeney is selling soap made from her bathwater. Yes, it's true, as bizarre as it sounds, this is real. The Euphoria star has collaborated with the Dr. Squatch brand to create this unusual product. Sydney herself took to Instagram to announce it and revealed that fans often ask her for her bathwater.
On Thursday, Sydney posted on social media and announced, "When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap." As per People, Sydney loves that "we created something that's not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love."
It is said to be an exfoliating soap bar made from sand, pine bark extract, and Sydney Sweeney's bathwater. While revealing more about the product, she added, "Guys, wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and push them towards natural." It is also shared that the soap smells like pine, Douglas fir, and earthy moss.
The limited-edition soap is set to launch on June 6 and will retail for eight dollars per bar. Announcing it on Instagram, the actress wrote, "You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad⦠so we kept it." She added, "Introducing Sydney's Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater."
Sydney Sweeney, known for her portrayal of Cassie Howard in the hit HBO series Euphoria, has also revealed that the upcoming third season will be more "unhinged" than ever. As per Deadline, in a recent interview, Sweeney described her character as "crazy" and "flawed on so many levels," but emphasized that Cassie's actions stem from a place of love.
The Third season Euphoria will feature a five-year time jump, taking the characters out of high school for the first time. With new cast members joining the show - including Sharon Stone, Asante Blackk, and Lucy Punch, fans can expect fresh dynamics and storylines.
