Singing superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce are officially married. The much-talked-about wedding, which is taking place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, was officiated by actor and their close friend Adam Sandler, as the couple officially exchanged vows.
The news of the ceremony was confirmed by Taylor's representative to People magazine. According to her representative, actor and comedian Adam Sandler, who is a friend of the couple, officiated the wedding ceremony.
While fans are eagerly awaiting pictures from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding, her representative revealed details from the highly guarded ceremony.
"The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewellery," the representative shared.
Soon after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged their vows, the jumbotrons outside the stadium flashed the news Swifties had been waiting for almost a year: "JUST&T MARRIED!," the boards read.
In the statement, Taylor Swift's representative added, "Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor's man of honour and Jason Kelce (Travis Kelce's brother) was Travis's best man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler."
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dated for two years before getting engaged last year. The two married at Madison Square Garden with almost 1,000 guests attending their wedding, which was held on July 3.
Hours before the nuptials, several celebrities from entertainment and sports worl were spotted arriving outside the venue. Fans spotted Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, The Chicks, Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hugh Grant, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Zoe Kravitz, Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, Jimmy Fallon and Tommy Hilfiger.
On the eve of their wedding, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce even hosted a private rehearsal dinner with family and friends at the Infosys Theatre under tight security.
