Dakota Johnson has long been known for her love of sheer and daring fashion, often making bold statements on the red carpet. Staying true to her style, the actor opted for another see-through look at the London premiere of Verity. Johnson wore a cream lace gown that revealed black underwear underneath.
Dakota Johnson turned heads at the Verity premiere in London in a cream lace gown by Colleen Allen. The floor-length dress featured delicate floral patterns, a plunging scoop neckline with ruffles and a fitted silhouette. She wore black underwear underneath, which was visible through the sheer fabric.
Johnson completed the look with peep-toe heels and diamond-studded gold jewellery. She kept her hair straight with her signature bangs, letting the gown remain the highlight of her look.
The actor has previously embraced sheer dressing. Last year, she wore a similar black lace gown to Kering's annual Caring for Women dinner. She also opted for a sheer look at the Los Angeles premiere of Madame Web in 2024.
Hollywood beauties Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson are all set to share screen space for the first time in the forthcoming edge-of-the-seat thriller Verity. The movie introduces the audience to a world full of secrets, mystery and psychological tension. It revolves around the lives of a renowned author, Verity Crawford (played by Anne Hathaway), and Lowen Ashleigh (played by Dakota Johnson), a struggling writer who relocates to the remote Crawford estate to ghost-write for Verity.
Along with Anne Hathaway as Verity Crawford and Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, the primary cast of the drama also includes Josh Hartnett as Jeremy Crawford, Verity's husband; Brady Wagner as Crew Crawford, Jeremy's son; and Ismael Cruz Córdova as Corey. Irina Dvorovenko, K. K. Moggie, Michael Abbott Jr. and Alex Cooper are also part of the movie's supporting cast.
In a recent conversation with Extra TV, Johnson was asked about filming the kiss with Hathaway. Rather than playing coy, the actor joked that she would be more than happy to repeat the experience. "I would kiss Annie for the rest of my life. Every day. If you need me, I'm there," she said. To note, Anne missed the premiere as she is in her last trimester.
