BTS' Jin has found himself embroiled in a fresh legal battle after a complaint was filed against his liquor business. BTS Jin ends up in a legal soup for his liquor brand

BTS' Jin and renowned TV actor Baek Jong Won have formed a joint enterprise called JINI's Lamp. It offers some alcoholic beverages, but due to a recent complaint with the Ministry, it is facing major legal consequences. According to TenAsia, the complainant alleges that the company's labeling violates the country's labeling standards. According to reports, the case focuses on the company's IGIN highball cocktails and argues that its ingredients are mislabeled, potentially misleading consumers about whether fruits such as watermelon and plum are produced domestically or from the international market.

Ministry drops the legal statement

According to an official statement issued by the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service, the Ministry has initiated an investigation into the situation, and no decision will be reached until after a comprehensive investigation. According to the statement, if the corporation is found guilty, further investigations and administrative fines may be imposed. The statement read, "If violations are found after review, the matter will proceed to investigation and possible referral. Depending on the findings, administrative measures could also be taken. We will examine this thoroughly from start to finish."

JINI's Lamp was founded in December 2024 by Jin and Baek Jong Won as co-founders. The company manages the IGIN line's manufacture, while Yesandoga, Baek's connected distributor, handles sales. When approached about the problem, JINI's Lamp reps stated that they are "currently checking the matter" and declined to comment further.

Jin, on the other hand, will attend Milan Fashion Week as GUCCI's brand ambassador. The BTS band just announced their comeback, teasing a new album that will supposedly be released in March 2026. Are you excited?
