Jungkook's friendship with Cha Eun Woo is unmistakable! The two '97 liner buddies have been close since they were introduced a few years back, and they've gone out to dinner several times. However, the news of their most recent visit appears to have moved both groups of admirers. A guest to a prominent restaurant inquired about the BTS and ASTRO members' visit to their branch prior to Cha Eun Woo's military induction in July. It was believed that Jungkook flew back to South Korea just to spend time with his good friend while working on BTS' new album in the United States.

BFFs catch up over dinner

The members of BTS reconvened in Los Angeles to work on their new album, which is expected to be released in the spring of 2026. Their plans were briefly disrupted when Jungkook returned to his homeland for a few weeks near the end of July. With rumours about the purpose of his visit circulating across the world, it has finally been revealed that the BTS member ate with dear friend Cha Eun Woo, who will then join in the military brand in Yeoncheon on July 28th. The two also signed autographs for the restaurant owner who fed them dinner at the eatery.

Cha Eun Woo and Jungkook's bond

Previously, it was revealed that the singer and actor Cha Eun Woo gave Jungkook a valuable watch when he enlisted on December 12, 2023, along with fellow member Jimin. He was spotted wearing it while clothed in his soldier uniform as the members gathered to welcome Jin home on his military discharge day in June 2024, demonstrating their close connection. Now, the BTS member appears to have reciprocated the gesture with a return visit to tow, particularly for his pal.

The 1997-born singers have managed to form a strong group of same-aged K-pop stars, including SEVENTEEN's Mingyu, The 8, and DK, GOT7's Yugyeom and BamBam, NCT's Jaehyun, and, according to speculations, Stray Kids' Bang Chan.

Earlier, Cha Eun Woo had asked his fans to remember him before heading to the enlistment. He said, 'I will be back soon, remember me while I go for the enlistment.'
