BTS created history with their first-ever concerts in Spain, turning Madrid into a sea of purple as thousands of ARMY members sang, danced and celebrated every moment of the group's European tour debut. While J-Hope's confident stage presence, Jungkook's viral shirt reveal and V's playful fan interactions dominated social media, it was ultimately the fans who stole the spotlight with their unmatched energy.
The K-pop superstars kicked off the European leg of their ARIRANG World Tour with two sold-out performances at Madrid's Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium. The concerts marked BTS' first visit to Spain since their debut, making the event especially emotional for both the members and their Spanish fanbase.
One of the most unforgettable moments came when the members briefly stopped singing and allowed the audience to take over. Tens of thousands of ARMYs sang the lyrics in perfect harmony, filling the stadium with their voices as the seven members smiled and watched. The heartfelt fan participation became one of the defining highlights of the concerts and quickly went viral online.
The performances also delivered plenty of memorable fan-service moments. J-Hope grabbed attention with his partially unbuttoned black shirt, showcasing his toned physique during the show. Jungkook generated massive buzz after appearing in an open denim shirt during soundcheck before later tossing his T-shirt into the crowd, sending fans into a frenzy. Meanwhile, V delighted attendees by interacting closely with the audience, even sharing his water bottle with a fan before throwing it into the stands.
Throughout the concerts, BTS members expressed their gratitude to Spanish fans and repeatedly promised to return. V shared that performing in Madrid had been one of his wishes, while Jimin thanked the audience for creating unforgettable memories and hoped they would meet again in the future.
The Madrid concerts attracted more than 66,000 fans and featured surprise performances of fan-favourite tracks, making BTS' long-awaited Spain debut a landmark event in the group's career. The successful shows have now set the stage for the remaining European stops on the ARIRANG World Tour, with ARMYs across the continent eagerly awaiting their turn.
