K-pop sensation ENHYPEN brought together music and Hollywood nostalgia as the group joined members of the Twilight franchise at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con, marking one of the convention's biggest crossover moments. The group participated in the panel titled "Bite Me: Calling All Vampires," alongside Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke and actors Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene, exploring the enduring appeal of vampire storytelling across different forms of entertainment.
Held at the San Diego Convention Center, the discussion highlighted how vampire narratives have evolved from blockbuster films and television series to music, webtoons and animation. ENHYPEN's appearance reflected the growing global influence of K-pop beyond the music industry, particularly through the group's vampire-inspired universe, DARK MOON, which has expanded into webtoons, novels and animation.
The panel served as a meeting point for two generations of vampire fandoms. While Twilight remains one of Hollywood's most successful fantasy franchises, ENHYPEN has built its own supernatural identity through songs such as "Bite Me" and the DARK MOON storyline. Fans packed the venue to watch the unique collaboration, celebrating the intersection of K-pop and pop culture's enduring fascination with vampires.
Comic-Con, which attracts more than 120,000 attendees every year, has evolved into one of the world's biggest celebrations of entertainment, bringing together film studios, television networks, gaming companies and global music acts under one roof. ENHYPEN's participation underscored the increasing presence of Korean entertainment at international pop culture events.
Beyond the panel, ENHYPEN also took part in several DARK MOON-themed activities throughout the convention. The members visited the franchise's official booth, interacted with fans and headlined the special off-site event "DARK MOON BLOOD NIGHT with ENHYPEN," which featured a talk session and live performances hosted by American radio personality JoJo Wright. Fans attending the event were even encouraged to arrive in vampire-inspired outfits, further immersing themselves in the group's fictional universe.
This year's Comic-Con featured several headline-grabbing moments, including Johnny Depp's surprise appearance in character to promote his upcoming film Ebenezer. Marvel Studios also returned to Hall H to build excitement for Avengers: Doomsday, while DC Studios showcased its upcoming HBO series Lanterns. Against this star-studded backdrop, ENHYPEN stood out by demonstrating how K-pop continues to break into global entertainment spaces, bridging fandoms and introducing new audiences to its expanding storytelling universe.
