A Tale of Two Sisters (2003)

A Tale of Two Sisters is a disturbing psychological horror film about siblings who are tormented by their stepmother. 

Released in 2003, it was inspired by a Joseon-era folktale called Janghwa Hongryeon jeon, which has been adapted to film several times.

The Mimic (2017)

Inspired by the legend of the Jangsan Tiger, a creature that mimics human voices to lure victims, this horror-thriller follows a grieving mother who encounters a mysterious girl linked to the creature. 

As the mother tries to uncover the girl’s identity, her family is struck by eerie events that threaten their peace. The film touches upon emotional loss with supernatural dread. 

The Wailing (2016)

If you’re a horror movie buff, there’s no way you’ve missed out on this one. A grotesque drama, it revolves around a policeman who investigates a series of murders in a remote village. 

However, things go south when his daughter shows signs of possession by an evil spirit, which can only be cured via exorcism. Fate has different plans as trust becomes the key to saving lives. 

All of Us Are Dead (2022)

All of Us Are Dead has a multi-starrer cast. When a group of high school students encounter a zombie virus outbreak, they must fight their own to survive.

The show combines intense action, emotional depth, and social commentary on survival and morality.

Sweet Home (2020)

This apocalyptic horror series sheds light on the life of residents trapped in an apartment complex as people around them turn into monsters.

The story revolves around a reclusive teenager who must confront both external horrors and his inner demons as he struggles to safeguard his human side while turning into a monster. 

Exhuma (2024)

The film presents a unique take on the story of an ominous grave excavation. While the process seems harmless, it unleashes dreadful consequences.

Exhuma does not feature ordinary jump scares, but a twisted take on classic horror nuances that leave you gasping as the film progresses to an outstanding finale. 

Gyeongseong Creature (2023)

Gyeongseong Creature revolves around a doctor who conducts strange experiments to bring a horrifying creature to life to be used as a weapon.

Set in 1945 during the Japanese occupation, a skilled bounty hunter and a wealthy entrepreneur team up to confront the man-made evil.
