Ever since Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran's wedding was confirmed by the Telangana Chief Minister, their fans have been eagerly awaiting details about their big day. Amid the buzz and excitement around their November wedding, a video of a lavish wedding invite is going viral, with many claiming it is of the couple. However, here's the truth behind the viral video.
A video has been going viral on the internet showing a lavish box including an invitation card and other goodies. The box opens to a small idol of Lord Ganesha with a paper peacock cutout at the back. Below the idol are drawers that include a set of invitation cards along with eatables like dry fruits, nuts and chocolates. The videos have been shared online claiming that the invitation is for Anirudh and Kavya's upcoming wedding.
The video also shows another invitation hamper with the images of Gods printed on the cover. The box opens to a number of small jars filled with treats placed inside, along with an invitation card.
However, the truth is that the invitations are not for Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran's wedding. A closer look at the invitation cards in the videos shows the names and the wedding date printed. The video actually belongs to the wedding invitation of Tamil film producer Kannan Ravi's son, Deepak Ravi and Senthamarai. The second clip in the video also shows the initials of the couple, 'DS ', printed on the box.
Hence, the viral claims of Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran's wedding invitation getting leaked online are not true.
After almost a year of speculation and rumours, it was confirmed that music composer Anirudh is all set to tie the knot with Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran. Although the exact date and venue of the wedding ceremony are not known, it was confirmed that their wedding reception will be held in Chennai on November 26.
The couple's parents have been personally visiting and inviting dignitaries, including PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana CM Anumula Revanth Reddy, Opposition leader Sonia Gandhi and more, over the past few days.
