Fauzi teaser

Prabhas and the makers shared the video on Instagram, calling it as the declassified File No. 25. The teaser opens with black-and-white visuals of wartime vehicles that are seen moving through a snow-covered street. The text establishes the setting as Berlin on May 29, 1942.

The video shows the meeting between Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Adolf Hitler during World War II, where the Indian freedom fighter seeks international support for India's independence from British rule. However, how the historical encounter connects to Prabhas' character or the film's storyline is not clear.

Notably, the teaser glimpse comes after the makers shared a birthday poster featuring Prabhas in a vintage military uniform. It was accompanied by the tagline A Battalion Who Fights Alone and the phrase Agyataparva, meaning a hidden chapter.

Man questioned of Many questioned if the scene gives due importance to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's historical significance or merely uses him.

A user even demanded that a criminal case be filed against the makers for using Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to glorify Prabhas' character. Many even called for an immediate public apology and the removal of the video.

Meanwhile, some fans have defended the makers, pointing out that the film is a fictionalised story based on real characters. The makers are yet to respond to the criticism or issue a statement regarding the same.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi stars Prabhas alongside Imanvi, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher.
