Dulquer Salmaan has finally addressed the unexpected delay in the release of the much-awaited trailer of his upcoming Malayalam action entertainer I'm Game. After fans expressed disappointment over the trailer not arriving at its scheduled time, the actor issued a heartfelt apology and assured them that the team was working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
The trailer was originally slated to drop on Dulquer's birthday, making it one of the biggest announcements for his fans. However, the release was postponed at the last minute due to a technical issue, leaving social media abuzz with speculation and frustration.
Breaking his silence on the delay, Dulquer apologised to fans for the inconvenience and explained that the makers did not want to release an incomplete or technically flawed trailer.
"I am extremely sorry about the delay. We were all eagerly waiting to share the trailer with you, but due to an unforeseen technical issue, we couldn't release it as planned," he said.
The actor further assured fans that the team was working around the clock to fix the problem. "We don't want to put out anything that isn't perfect. We owe you the best possible experience, and that's exactly what we're trying to deliver," he added.
Dulquer also thanked fans for their patience and unwavering support despite the setback. He acknowledged that many had stayed online waiting for the trailer and said their excitement meant a great deal to the entire team.
"I know many of you waited for hours, and I'm truly grateful for your love and patience. Please bear with us a little longer. The wait will be worth it," the actor said.
Directed by Nahas Hidayath of RDX fame, I'm Game marks Dulquer's return to Malayalam cinema after King of Kotha. The action thriller has generated immense buzz ever since its announcement, with Dulquer previously describing it as his "most stylish film yet." The film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 20 as an Onam release.
While the delayed trailer disappointed fans initially, Dulquer's candid apology and reassurance were appreciated by many on social media. Several users praised the actor for addressing the issue directly, while others expressed hope that the trailer would live up to the enormous expectations surrounding one of the year's most anticipated Malayalam releases.
