As rumours about Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda's alleged wedding continue to float, social media has been buzzing about the highly talked about marriage. Amid the numerous reports, now their wedding invitation hamper has caught everyone's attention.
A video of the wedding invite box is going viral on the internet, and it looks anything but ordinary. It is designed as a premium gift hamper, and reportedly features a specially customised 'National Crush' perfume, a reference to Rashmika's popular nickname. Similarly, alongside the fragrance, the viral video also shows that the hamper includes hand cream and foot cream, giving it the feel of a luxury beauty kit.
The couple has added another personalised touch to the invite box by including a stylish 'Rowdy' brand t-shirt. For the unversed, Rowdy or RWDY is Vijay's fashion label. The hamper also contains a premium box of cashews.
According to reports, the couple is set to tie the knot on February 26 in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. However, neither of them has officially confirmed the news.
According to a report by India Today, the wedding festivities are expected to begin on February 24 and conclude with the wedding ceremony on February 26. A source was quoted as saying, "It's a very small guest list. No phones will be allowed. Even the team capturing the wedding has signed NDAs (Non-disclosure agreement)."
The ceremony is believed to be strictly private. No actors or industry colleagues have been invited, according to reports. The guest list for the wedding ceremony includes only immediate family members and a few close friends. The couple also reportedly plans to follow traditional customs by hosting separate pre-wedding rituals, organised by Rashmika's maternal family and by Vijay's family.
A few days ago their wedding invite went viral, indicating that they will be hosting a reception on March 4 in Hyderabad. Following their wedding, the couple is also said to be planning a month-long break.
