Telugu superstar Jr NTR turned a year older on Wednesday, and to commemorate the occasion, the makers of his next film, titled Dragon, unveiled the initial glimpse from his next with Prashanth Neel. Following the love showered on the teaser, Jr NTR expressed his gratitude through social media.
In a note shared on his Instagram on his birthday, Jr NTR claimed that his supporters are the biggest blessings in his cinematic journey.
He shared a statement on his official handle that read, "Over the years, your wishes and constant support have become one of the biggest blessings in my journey. Thank you my dear fans for standing by me with so much love through every phase. Watching the response for the DragonGlimpse has not only brought a big smile to our faces but also given us a lot of confidence and excitement to create an unforgettable experience for you all. And all the credit goes to ONE MAN, my PRASHANTH NEEL, who dreamt of DRAGON. (sic)."
"A heartfelt thank you to all my well wishers, colleagues, friends, media and everyone for your warm wishes. Much love. Always," he went on to add.
If the preview is any hint, Jr NTR will be seen as the assassin-in-chief of the Afghan Trading Company, one of the two prime entities involved in a global opium war.
Jr NTR also introduced his Insta Family to his new pet friends, Asahi and Yuuhi. The RRR actor pointed out that the names of his birds reflect his immense love for Japan.
"Introducing my birdies Asahi & Yuuhi â¦Reflecting my love for Japan ð¯ðµ. (sic)," Jr NTR wrote on his official Instagram handle.
In March this year, the Telugu heartthrob was in Japan as part of the promotional tour of Devara: Part 1. Expressing his gratitude to the people of Japan, Jr NTR uploaded a video of himself surrounded by a sea of his Japanese fans.
The caption on the post read, "My visits to Japan always give me beautiful memories but this one hit differently. Hearing a Japanese fan tell me she learned Telugu after watching RRR truly moved me".
"Being a lover of cinema and languages, the power of cinema to be a bridge across cultures and encouraging a fan to learn a language is something I will never forget. One more reason to celebrate Indian cinema as it travels the world," added the 'Simhadri' actor.
