Trisha Krishnan is over the moon following the success of her recently released film Karuppu. Despite facing release hurdles, the film received an overwhelming response from audiences. As the RJ Balaji directorial, starring Suriya in the lead, inches closer to blockbuster status, Trisha took to social media to pen a celebratory note. The actress shared several BTS moments from the sets of the film along with a message in the caption.
On Wednesday, Trisha shared a few behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram featuring herself, RJ Balaji, and Suriya. Along with the photos, she wrote, "My magical May said, one more for the win. Just God things."
The caption quickly grabbed attention, with netizens focusing on the phrase "one more win". Many assumed that the other "win" Trisha hinted at was actor-politician Vijay sweeping his first State Assembly polls and becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Trisha is rumoured to be dating Vijay and had also attended his swearing-in ceremony as CM. At the event, Trisha was seen greeting Vijay's family.
An Instagram user commented, "Decodes: one more win this May. Win 1: TN election, Win 2: Karuppu."
"Code word accepted... one more for the win," wrote another person.
Another user commented, "Lucky charm for Vijay, Ajith, Suriya."
One more fan wrote, "Caption!! One more for the winn (laugh emoji)".
Suriya recently took to social media to share a long note thanking the cast and crew of Karuppu amid the film's success. However, many eagle-eyed social media users noticed that the actor did not mention Trisha, who plays the female lead in the film. The omission sparked debate online, with several users questioning why her name was missing.
The discussion intensified after Trisha reshared the post on her Instagram Stories.
One fan wrote, "Mentioned every crew member except her, that says it all. But the main thing is, she wasn't invited to the audio launch. Despite everything, she has no ego and still remains kind. What a woman she is, but she still reshared the tweet (sic)."
Meanwhile, others argued that Suriya may have only intended to thank the technicians and had no intention of disrespecting or omitting Trisha. One social media user wrote, "In the video, he thanked Trisha. This tweet is just for thanking the main technicians behind the film (sic)."
