A story of faith, surrender, and inner awakening arrives on screen as the record-breaking Gujarati blockbuster Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayate gears up for its World Digital Premiere on Sony LIV on 6th March. The first Gujarati film to cross the Rs 100-crore milestone at the box office, Laalo is more than a cinematic success, it is an emotional and spiritual experience that deeply moved audiences in theatres and is now ready to touch hearts across the country.

Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayate Plot

At its core lies the journey of Laalo, a humble rickshaw driver weighed down by poverty, guilt, and an unhealed past. When he finds himself mysteriously trapped inside a remote farmhouse while chasing quick money, silence becomes his greatest companion, and in that stillness, divine visions of Lord Krishna begin to appear. Gentle yet powerful, these moments of Krishna bhakti guide him toward confronting his fears, accepting his truth, and rediscovering hope. What unfolds is not just a survival story, but a deeply personal path toward redemption and spiritual awakening.

The film stars Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, and Karan Joshi.

Director Ankit Sakhiya expresses his excitement

Talking about the film director Ankit Sakhiya says, "Laalo was always a deeply personal story for us, a film that captures devotion without preaching, presenting faith as comfort, guidance, and healing. Through soulful storytelling, meaningful silences, and emotionally real characters, we hoped the film would touch hearts, but the love we received in theatres was far beyond anything we had imagined. In many ways, life changed for everyone who was part of this journey. As the film now moves closer to its OTT release, I feel immense gratitude towards Laalo (Krishna) and my audience for showing us this next path. What began as a small, rooted story is now ready to become a part of homes across the country, and that is truly humbling for all of us."

The film has been produced by Manifest Films, Jay Vyas Productions, and Ajay Balavant Padariya. Originally made in Gujarati and available in Gujarati and Hindi, Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayate invites audiences to experience a moving tale where faith becomes the guiding force, streaming from 6th March on Sony LIV.
