Parvathamma Rajkumar, a film producer and wife of late Kannada actor Rajkumar, passed away at the age of 78 in the wee hours of Wednesday in Bengaluru. She had been admitted at MS Ramaiah Hospital since May 14.
According to reports, her body has been taken to her son Raghavendra Rajkumar's residence. Her body will be kept in Poorna Pragna grounds for people to pay their last respects. The funeral will be held at Sree Kanteerava Studio next to her husband Rajkumar's memorial.

According to a report in One India, Parvathamma Rajkumar's blood pressure had dropped after which she suffered a cardiac arrest at 4.40 am on Wednesday. The report quotes Ramaiah hospital president Naresh Shetty saying that her malignancy had spread to the lungs and liver.
Fans took to Twitter to condole Parvathamma Rajkumar' death.
