Rajvir Jawanda, a popular Punjabi musician, was reportedly involved in an accident in Baddi on Saturday on his way to Shimla. The singer was transported to the hospital and is currently being treated at Fortis Mohali.
According to PTC, Rajvir is currently in serious condition. He apparently received early medical assistance and was immediately transported to Fortis Hospital, where medical professionals declined to comment on his condition. The doctors noted that his condition remains critical.
According to the accounts, he received head injuries and his bike was seriously damaged.
Several Punjabi musicians from the industry, including Kanwar Grewal and Kulwinder Billa, have arrived at the hospital to visit the artist and offer their support to his family.
Hours before the reported road tragedy, Punjabi musician Rajvir posted a video on Instagram of a gorgeous lake setting. He finished his message by playing his latest song, Tu Dis Painda, in the backdrop. In the video, the singer wears a black T-shirt, denim, and a hat. He captioned the reel: "No one will understand what the matter is between you and me. If I don't remember you. Tell me which moment is that."
As soon as the news of Rajvir Jawanda's car accident spread on social media, many fans turned to their social media handles to wish him a swift recovery. One fan said, "Waheguru, mehar kare." A different supporter wrote: "Critical condition das rhe a waheguru ji mehar krn maa pio da sher brga puttsahi salamat ghar a jawe dhan guru Ramdas ji." Aside from fans, musician Kamal Grewal wrote, "Waheguru chardi kala rakhey bhut wadia insaan hai Rajveer."
Rajvir Jawanda started his music career in 2014. He rose to prominence with popular songs such as Kali Jawande Di. Rajvir's career also includes acting. He has appeared in films including Mindo Taseeldarni and Mindo Taseeldarni. He made his acting debut with a supporting role in the multi-starrer film Subedar Joginder Singh.
The actor and singer now resides in Mohali with his family. Rajvir Jawanda worked in the Punjab Police before joining the music profession.
