The excitement around Peddi, one of the most anticipated pan-India films of the year, continues to soar with every new update. Ahead of the release, the team, including Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shiva Rajkumar, attended a grand press meet in Bengaluru. However, the event grabbed attention after a viral clip showed chaos erupting at the venue and female fans allegedly being manhandled by security guards.

A video from Ram Charan's Peddi event in Bengaluru has sparked outrage online after female fans were allegedly manhandled by security guards while trying to rush towards the stage for a picture with the actor. In the viral clip, the women can be seen being tightly held and pushed back by security personnel as chaos unfolded near the stage. Several social media users also criticised Ram Charan for not intervening or asking the guards to handle the situation more calmly.

The biggest musical celebration for Peddi took place on May 23 in Bhopal, turning into a grand spectacle with the entire cast and crew coming together.

In Peddi, Ram Charan will be seen playing a crossover athlete, exploring a unique sporting journey. Showcasing him as a cricketer, wrestler, and sprinter, the trailer has built expectations among the audience to witness a never-before-seen avatar of the actor. The film is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana and stars Ram Charan in the lead role alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu.

Peddi will be released in North India by Jio Studios and will premiere across the world on June 3, 2026, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026. Notably, the film's certification development comes days after the makers unveiled the official trailer. The CBFC has passed Peddi with a U/A 16+ certificate.

According to images of the certification circulating on the internet, the final runtime of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor's Peddi is 189 minutes, which is 3 hours and 9 minutes. Before passing the film, the CBFC reportedly suggested certain cuts and modifications. Following the massive success of Chikiri Chikiri and Rai Rai Ra Ra.., the makers unveiled the track Hellallallo featuring Shruti Haasan.
