CM Vijay's son Jason Sanjay's debut film Sigma is set to hit the screens, but actor Sundeep Kishan has found himself addressing trolls targeting the action entertainer. The actor alleged that the social media posts were part of a targeted campaign and issued a warning to those behind them.

Taking to X, he wrote, "I see a lot of targeted anti-tweets coming at me and my film over the last few days. Lol. I know exactly the people behind this and who's paying for it as well. Just reminding you that you have more to lose than me."

He ended the post with a Telugu warning: "Direct ayipithe andaru dorikipitharu mari.. choosukondi." The remark broadly translates to, "If it becomes direct, everyone will get caught, so be careful."

Sundeep's post received support from social media users. Jyotika wrote, "Truth always comes out eventually. Stay strong and keep focusing on your work. The love and support from genuine people will always speak louder."

About Sigma

The Central Board of Film Certification cleared director Jason Sanjay's eagerly awaited action entertainer Sigma, featuring actor Sundeep Kishan in the lead, for release with a U/A certificate. The film is to hit screens worldwide on October 2 this year. A trailer that was released by the makers recently has added to the excitement of fans. The trailer gives away the fact that the protagonist, played by Sundeep Kishan, is betrayed at one point. However, he refuses to forget what has happened to him and instead chooses to fight back and reclaim what he has lost.

The filmmaker, who is the son of Tamil superstar and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, admitted that he often wonders how audiences will view him when they watch his first film.

Jason also opened up about the side of his father, Vijay, that he would like to explore as a filmmaker. For him, it is the actor's sense of humour and his more relaxed personality.

"I like my father's sense of humour, something that I really enjoy watching him do, letting loose and being himself," Jason said. Having grown up seeing that personal side of Vijay, he feels there is an "inner-child-like nature" in the actor that audiences could see more of.
