Nani-starrer The Paradise has received an ‘A' certificate from the CBFC, and the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has now released its content advisory. The warning flags strong violence, disturbing injuries, sexual humiliation, self-harm and suicide references. The details offer a glimpse into the intense content of the upcoming action entertainer.

BBFC advisory highlights

As per a report in Times Now News, the BBFC advisory highlights several intense and disturbing sequences in Nani-starrer The Paradise. The film features depictions of punching, stabbing, slashing and impalement, along with dismemberment and graphic injuries involving blood, exposed flesh and brain matter. It also includes scenes of threats and sexual humiliation, including a woman being forcibly stripped in front of a crowd.

The content warning further lists references to suicide and self-harm, including a suicide attempt, a death by suicide and an instance of self-harm involving barbed wire. The film also contains threats of women being sold at an auction, references to women having sex for money, and a childbirth sequence.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has reportedly cleared Telugu star Nani's much-awaited action entertainer, The Paradise, for release with an ‘A' certificate and a runtime of nearly three hours.

The Paradise marks Nani's second film with director Srikanth Odela after their successful 2023 film Dasara. Kayadu Lohar and Raghav Juyal are also part of the cast, while Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.

Another unusual part of The Paradise is that there will be no full theatrical trailer before its release. Nani has also said that despite the action shown in the promotions, the film is mainly an emotional story about a mother and her son.

Actor Nani described The Paradise as one of the toughest films he has worked on. Speaking about the project, he said, "The Paradise is the most tiring film of my career, both physically and mentally." Telangana Today reported that the actor felt he had worked harder on this film than on any other project in his 18-year career.

A Bengaluru civil court has granted interim protection to Nani-starrer The Paradise after its makers flagged alleged coordinated posts targeting the film. The court ordered removal of specific URLs but clarified that genuine reviews remain unaffected.
