Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay celebrated his 52nd birthday on June 22, marking his first birthday after assuming the chair of CM. As wishes poured in for the actor-politician from across the country, including industry friends, fans noticed that his rumoured girlfriend Trisha Krishnan did not post any wishes for him, allegedly breaking her annual tradition. The absence of her wish even sparked rumours of trouble in paradise between the two. However, on Tuesday evening, Trisha put all those rumours to rest with the sweetest wish.
Vijay celebrated his 52nd birthday with Trisha, amid his divorce proceedings with wife Sangeetha. Trisha gave fans a glimpse into their celebrations by sharing an inside photo. She posted a picture on Instagram and penned a sweet note for Vijay.
In the picture, the actor-politician is all smiles, as he is seen dressed in a printed yellow and grey shirt. Trisha looks at him adorably, seemingly unable to take her eyes off him, as she smiles broadly. Meanwhile, Vijay looks at the birthday cakes placed in front of him, including a mango cake and a huge pink and white floral cake.
Posting the picture, Trisha wrote, "To the person who makes it all worth it, HBD (heart and evil eye emojis)." along with cryptically adding, "00.00," possibly suggesting that the celebrations took place as the clock struck 12 on June 22. She also added a sparkle emoji to the caption.
Fans couldn't keep calm as soon as she dropped the post espeically since rumours of their alleged breakup were doing the rounds.
Notably, the rumours of trouble in their relationship surfaced early on Tuesday, after fans noticed that Trisha did not post a wish for Vijay on his 52nd birthday on June 22, since she is known for sharing birthday posts for him on social media every year without a miss.
To add to the speculation, many netizens pointed out that she appeared to have unfollowed Vijay on Instagram, which further fuelled split rumours. However, many others pointed out that Trisha never followed him in the first place.
