Tamil actress Trisha has often made headlines over speculations of dating Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay. The rumours gained traction after reports of Vijay's wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, filing for divorce after nearly three decades emerged. Sangeeta allegedly cited infidelity and an affair with an unnamed actress as the reason, leading to Trisha's name being linked to the controversy. Ever since, rumours surrounding their alleged affair have dominated headlines.
Amid the rumours and speculation, Trisha recently shared a subtle yet cryptic message on Instagram, which many have linked to her alleged relationship. Nushrratt shared a photo of her pet dog peacefully sleeping. In the caption, the actress seemingly took an indirect dig at the ongoing chatter around her personal life. Alongside the picture, Trisha wrote, "The only nose I allow in my business..."
Although neither Trisha nor Vijay has directly addressed the speculation, Trisha's appearances at events and social media activity have often fueled discussions, keeping the buzz alive.
In recent months, Trisha and Vijay have often been at the centre of online speculation surrounding their personal relationship. However, neither of the two stars has publicly addressed the rumours.
The speculations reignited after Trisha and Vijay attended a wedding function together wearing matching outfits in December 2025 amid Vijay's divorce. Further, her birthday celebrations also made headlines after she was seen visiting Vijay's Chennai residence after seeking blessings at Tirumala in the morning. She was later seen leaving the actor-politician's home, sparking fresh curiosity among fans.
Later, she once again fueled speculations when she attended Vijay's oath-taking ceremony earlier this month. She was seen dressed in a saree as she attended the ceremony with her mother, Uma Krishnan. During the ceremony, she was also seen getting emotional and teary-eyed as Vijay took the oath. Videos of her fighting back tears during the ceremony soon went viral on the internet.
Recently, Trisha also visited Tamil actor Ajith's house with Vijay, after his mother passed away on Saturday. The two arrived together in separate cars to offer their condolences to the veteran actor.
