Actress Kashmira Irani, best known for playing Amber in the TV serial Amber Dhara, is expecting her first child with Akshat Saxena. The actress, who was most recently seen in Imtiaz Ali's Main Vaapas Aaunga, has announced her pregnancy two years after tying the knot with the Operation Safed Sagar actor. The 40-year-old actress shared the happy news on her Instagram account with a sweet post.
Kashmira Irani took to Instagram on Sunday, August 30, 2026, to share an adorable photo from her holiday announcing her pregnancy. The picture included two coconuts, each with caps that read, "mom" and "dad." In the caption, Kashmira simply wrote, "Current Status ComingSoon," confirming the news.
For the unversed, Kashmira Irani married her longtime boyfriend Akshat Saxena back in February 2024. Now, the couple is set to expect their first child after 2 years of marriage. As soon as the couple shared the news, wishes began pouring in for the couple, with many celebrities congratulating them ans sending their best wishes in the comments section.
Kashmira, who was borna nd brought up in Pune, reportedly came to Mumbai at the age of just 17 to pursue a career in acting. Over her career, has worked in several advertisements for big brands. She became a household name for playing Amber in the TV serial Amber Dhara in 2007-2008. She is also known for playing Draupadi in Dharmakshetra, Samaira Khanna in Dosti... Yaariyan... Manmarziyan, and Rajkumari Sonali in Zangoora.
Later, she made her Bollywood debut and was seen in several films, including Rangoon and Salman Khan's Bharat, Tiger Zinda Hai. Most recently, Kashmira was last seen in the film Main Wapas Aunga.
On the other hand, Akshat Saxena is a Delhi-based pilot and actor. He recently made his acting debut in Operation Safed Sagar. Celebrating his debut, Kashmira penned a note on social media and wrote, "From flying in cockpits to living the reality of being on screen as an actor, what a trajectory! And what a show to make your debut with. From watching Papa, Wg Cdr Pankaj Saxena (Sexy), bravely serve as a fighter pilot on the Mirage 2000 during Operation Safed Sagar, to now being an actor in Operation Safed Sagar, life has truly come full circle, quite literally."
