Actor Arjun Bijlani, who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming web show, Chumbak, recently met with a mishap. As the show prepares to premiere on August 28, the actor has been promoting the show at multiple locations. However, amid the promotional spree, he met with a car accident.
Arjun recently visited the set of Bharti Singh's Indian Game Show to promote his upcoming family series. While he was returning from the shoot, his car met with a minor accident, according to Times Now. Luckily, the actor and others who were travelling with him in the same car were safe. Arjun did not suffer any injury and is currently doing fine.
The incident caused concern among fans who were worried about his safety and well-being. Nevertheless, he is safe and is looking forward to the release of Chumbak.
Talking about the series, Chumbak follows five quirky families residing in the Chumbak Colony neighbourhood, where chaotic conflicts and hilarious antics each day turn into a new chapter. Apart from Arjun, the cast of this show also includes Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Helly Shah, Manasi Parekh, Sumeet Vyas, Sandeepa Dhar, Sumeet Raghavan, Amyra Dastur, Delnaaz Irani and Anant V Joshi.
In an official statement earlier, showrunner, writer and director JD Majethia, along with producer Aatish Kapadia, described the show, saying, "With Chumbak, we wanted to celebrate something we've all experienced but perhaps don't appreciate enough anymore - the beautiful chaos of nostalgic neighbourhoods where no one needs an invitation to drop by, and neighbours slowly become family."
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in the Amazon MX Player show, Rise and Fall, hosted by Ashneer Grover. The reality show saw the actor win it. Additionally, the actor also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in 2021, which he won as well.
Most recently, Arjun made headlines after he publicly defended his friend and actress Mouni Roy amid rumours of the two sharing a romantic relationship. He quashed the rumours while adding that she has been going through a lot in her life.
