ScoutOp's girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, stirred up a controversy following her appearance on the latest episode of Bigg Boss 20. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20 on Sunday, October 25, Kaashvi confronted her boyfriend over his closeness with his alleged 'sister' Love Gill, and even asked her to stop giving him massages. She also claimed that Love was manipulating Tanmay Singh aka Scout inside the house while urging him to distance himself from her. After facing backlash for her comments about Love, Kaashvi has now issued an apology.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Kaashvi wrote that her intention was to address Scout, call out the mistakes she believed he had made, and hold him accountable for his actions. Although she did not name Love directly, she acknowledged that some of her words were insensitive towards the other people involved.
She wrote, "My intention was to address Scout, call out the mistakes I felt he had made, and hold him accountable for his actions. However, in doing so, I realise that some of the words I used were insensitive towards other people involved. Regardless of what I was feeling at the time, it is not my place to pass judgements on someone else's intentions or character, and I could have expressed myself better."
She further clarified, "I never intended to direct hate towards another woman or encourage anyone to target her. I understand that my words carry weight, and I take responsibility for how they may have come across."
Kaashvi, who had earlier spoken about Tanmay's feelings for Love, also acknowledged being clouded by emotions after watching the 'She knows what she's doing', 'it's her strategy' content on social media, admitting "I should have known better." Finally, she concluded, saying, "It's not my place to tell her anything. I recognise that and truly apologise to everyone I've hurt."
For the unversed, after the Bigg Boss 20 episode, Love's team had issued a lengthy statement slamming Kaashvi for her comments on Love's character on national television. "Her family is destroyed. Shattered into pieces," the statement read.
Calling out the double standards, the team added, "Why is a grown man treated like a victim of hypnosis, while a girl is painted as a calculated temptress? Why is she expected to carry the burden, the shame, and the humiliation for feelings she never asked for and never reciprocated?" "Love Gill deserved empathy, not cruelty. She deserved justice, not a character assassination," the statement read.
Kamya Punjabi also shared a post on X, questioning Kaashvi for blaming another woman instead of holding her partner "accountable." She wrote, "If the bond was real, he would set boundaries, not cut ties. Blaming the other girl for "manipulation" just to protect your own committed partner is disgusting and small-minded. Stop pulling another woman down to save your man. Hold him accountable!"
