Bigg Boss 9 fame Roopal Tyagi has finally found love again. She recently shared dreamy pictures from her Goa proposal. The actress is soon set to tie the knot with longtime beau Nomish Bhardwaj. In an exclusive interview, she opened up about their love story, how they met, and revealed details about their upcoming wedding.
On Sunday, Roopal shared photos from Nomish's proposal in Goa. "Just us⦠just right! YES⦠Forever," she wrote. Soon after she shared the post, fans flooded her with congratulations.
In an interview with Zoom, she spoke about their love story, first meeting, and wedding plans. She shared Nomish hails from Mumbai but works in Los Angeles and said, "We met through mutual friends, but that's not important actually. What was strange at that time was the minute we met, it felt like 'From day one, Oh my God! This is the person.' To me, I never thought something like that could actually happen. It felt like it was just in the movies or something, but it was really beautiful."
The actress further shared her wedding plans: "We're getting married on the 5th of December, and the reception is on the 8th. I never had a dream wedding planned. I never planned anything like that in my head," she revealed.
Roopal added that her wedding will be "cute, simple, personalised, and traditional." She said, "That's the only thing I was very keen on, that I wanted all the traditions and personalised touches. So, the wedding is a small ceremony, but the reception⦠we're inviting everybody for that. It's going to be in the Navy area, US Club."
Roopal participated in Bigg Boss 9, which aired from October 2015 to January 2016, with Prince Narula winning the season. She began her acting career with Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah and later appeared in TV shows such as Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi, Ranju Ki Betiyaan, among others. In 2015, she also took part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8.
Before Nomish, Roopal was rumoured to be dating Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke co-star Ankit Gera; however, he denied their relationship. She was later dating Akhlaque Khan of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kha fame. Despite their split, they continued to remain good friends.
