Parul Gulati makes her Cannes 2025 red carpet debut
Actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati marked her debut at the prestigious 78th Cannes Film Festival red carpet. She attended the world premiere of Eddington, the new feature by acclaimed filmmaker Ari Aster. It stars Hollywood heavyweights Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Emma Stone. In an exclusive interaction with Mid-day, Parul opened up about her experience at the French Riviera.
Parul recalls that growing up, she prayed hard to get to Cannes after watching Anurag Kashyap take Gangs of Wasseypur at the film festival. She also idolised "Indian Barbie" Aishwarya Rai, a Cannes constant.
Parul wore a custom outfit created by Mohit Rai. Her outfit for her debut at Cannes has been made of hair, in line with her hair extension brand, Nish Hair. She explains, "I will call this the greatest collaboration ever. It's an outfit that just speaks very loudly that it's me. We made something from scratch. It's a vision I had that Mohit brought to life."
