Krushna Abhishek has been one of the biggest entertainers on Laughter Chefs ever since the show's first season. Whether it is his impeccable comic timing, playful banter, or ability to lighten every situation, Krushna has remained a fan favourite throughout the reality show's journey. As Laughter Chefs 3 inches closer to its grand finale, the actor-comedian exclusively spoke to mid-day about his most cherished memories from the season, the close-knit bond among the contestants, and the fun that unfolds behind the cameras.
Looking back at the season, Krushna admits that while every episode brought its own share of laughter, a few moments stand out for the emotions they carried.
One such memory was the Khatron Ke Khiladi crossover episode, where an injury on set reminded everyone that they had become more than just co-contestants. "The Khatron Ke Khiladi crossover was one of the most memorable moments. When someone got hurt, the whole cast rallied together like family. That was really special."
Another unforgettable episode for Krushna was the Kids' Day special, where young judges took over the kitchen and the contestants happily matched their enthusiasm. "The Kids' Day episode was another favourite. Little kids came to judge us and all of us contestants turned into big kids for them. The energy on set that day was just amazing."
The finale, too, holds a special place in his heart not because of the competition, but because of the friendships that blossomed along the way. "The finale group hug is something I'll always remember. After all the competition, everyone forgot the scores and just celebrated together as one team."
While viewers get to witness the madness on screen, Krushna says the fun continues long after the cameras stop rolling. In fact, one of the biggest attractions on set has nothing to do with cooking challenges it is the homemade food everyone brings along. "100 percent ghar ka khana from all contestants is next level. Everyone randomly brings home food and the whole green room just follows the smell. We're all secretly hoping for 'dabba day' every shoot."
Asked what makes the duo Abhishek and Samarth both adorable and occasionally troublesome, Krushna couldn't help but smile. "Their energy. They'll turn any dull moment into a full-on masti session and keep the set so light."
As Laughter Chefs 3 heads towards its grand finale, Krushna believes the show has always been about much more than cooking. From supporting one another during difficult moments and sharing home-cooked meals to celebrating victories together regardless of who won, the experience has been defined by genuine friendships, laughter, and a family-like bond that extends far beyond the kitchen.
