Ganesh Chaturthi holds a special place in Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa's hearts, but this year, the festival has taken on an even deeper emotional significance for the couple. Along with celebrating Bappa's arrival with family, friends and their extended team, the couple is marking several personal and professional milestones, including the first Ganesh Chaturthi of their younger son Kaju and the success of their television venture, Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh.
For Bharti, the festival has always been synonymous with warmth, positivity and togetherness. This year, watching her two sons, Gola and Kaju, experience the celebrations has made the occasion even more meaningful.
"Ganesh Chaturthi has always been my absolute favorite festival because Bappa brings a kind of warmth, love, and divine positivity that just fills your heart. This year is profoundly emotional and special for us because it marks many firsts for us. It is our younger son Kaju's very first Ganesh Chaturthi," she said.
The comedian added that having both her children around during the festivities has brought a new sense of joy to the celebrations. "Having both our little Bal Ganeshas, Gola and Kaju, around us, watching their eyes light up with every aarti and modak, makes the festivities feel infinitely sweeter," she added.
The couple is also celebrating the journey of Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh, which Bharti described as their "first baby" after building and nurturing the project for their audiences. For her, celebrating Ganpati on the show's set, alongside the people who have worked on it, reinforced the idea that family extends beyond the home.
Harssh, too, considers Ganesh Chaturthi an important family tradition. "Ganesh Chaturthi is the anchor of our family because it brings every single person together in pure devotion and gratitude," he said.
He then shared that the family traditionally welcomes Ganpati Bappa at his mother's home and Bharti's sister Pinky's house. This year, they also brought home a special Bal Ganesha idol dedicated to Kaju. "Now with both Gola and Kaju running around, Bappa's arrival feels twice as joyful and sacred," Harssh said. The celebrations also come amid the success of their games reality show. Harssh credited the production team, crew and technical staff for putting their efforts into bringing the project to life.
For the couple, this Ganesh Chaturthi is therefore a celebration of faith, family and new beginnings, with their sons adding an entirely new dimension to a festival they have cherished for years.
