Karishma Tanna reveals her son's unique name on the ocassion of Janmashtami 2026

Days after welcoming her first child, a baby boy with husband, Varun Bangera, Karishma Tanna has now revealed her son's name. The actress chose the auspicious day of Janmashtami 2026 to reveal her baby boy's name on social media with a heartwarming post.

Karishma Tanna reveals son's name

Karishma Tanna took to social media on Friday, September 4 to share her son's name with fans. She revealed her son's name as Ved Tanna Bangera. The post also mentioned that the name was of Sanskrit origin, along with the meaning in Hindi.

In the caption she wrote, "On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, with Kanha's blessings, we lovingly introduce our little miracle… VED TANNA BANGERA A name that means sacred knowledge, wisdom and light. With all our love, Karishma and Varun." (sic)

Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera welcome baby boy

Karishma and Varun welcomed their baby boy on Gurupurnima this year. She shared a post on Instagram that read, "It's a boy. Karishma and Varun. Our greatest blessing, 29th July 2026. Sharing the post, Karishma wrote, "Born on the sacred day of Guru Purnima…Our greatest blessing is here. 29th July 2026. Welcome to our world, little one. Karishma and Varun.

Actress Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera reportedly met on New Year's Eve and got engaged in 2021 in Dubai when Varun surprised the actress with a skydiving trip. The couple later tied the knot on February 5, 2022, in an intimate beachside ceremony in Mumbai, with Gujarati and South Indian traditions.

The couple announced their pregnancy in April this year, sharing that they are expecting their first child. They shared the news with fans through a heartfelt social media post, stating that they are set to welcome their baby in August 2026.

Throughout her pregnancy, Karishma has been actively sharing her maternity and now postpartum journey. Back in May, the couple also had a traditional South Indian style Godh Bharai. Karishma was seen dressed in a beautiful golden silk saree adorned with traditional jewellery, as she shared glimpses on social media.
