Actress Jasmin Bhasin is all set to return to Khatron Ke Khiladi with season 15, which follows the exciting "challengers vs champions" format. Ahead of the new season, Jasmin opened up about the pressure of returning as a former contestant, the terrifying stunts she faced in the past, and why she is determined to enjoy the experience despite the fear.
Speaking about the vibe this season, Jasmin promised that entertainment is guaranteed. "In this season we will expect fun. Either we will get it or our viewers will get it seeing us getting in trouble. But the fun is for sure," she said with a laugh.
While she admitted that every contestant takes the stunts seriously, Jasmin believes off-camera moments are equally important. "About stunts I am sure everybody is serious, but in normal life we will not be serious for 24 hours. We will laugh and talk. I will have fun with everyone," she shared, teasing viewers to "wait and watch."
The actress also revealed that returning as someone who has already been on the show comes with added expectations. "I feel more than help or anything, it's a kind of pressure," Jasmin confessed.
She explained that many people assume returning contestants automatically have an advantage because of their previous experience. "I have heard in interviews that you have gone before and you will benefit. So now everybody is expecting more out of us. I have started feeling the pressure, which I don't want to take because I won't be able to perform my best with the pressure," she said.
Jasmin stressed that no contestant is ever fully prepared for the dangerous challenges featured on the show. "Everybody should understand that it's a very difficult show. It doesn't matter how many times you have done it before. You are never trained to do those things that you do in the show. That's why I am still scared and I don't know how I will do it," she admitted.
Recalling one of the scariest stunts she has ever performed, Jasmin spoke about being surrounded by live crocodiles. "I have done a stunt in which there were many crocodiles. Alive crocodiles," she recalled.
She further revealed that contestants are often warned about the risks before the stunt begins. "Before a stunt we are told that crocodile will bite you⦠even your stomach will tear," she shared, adding that the challenge also involved baby crocodiles.
"There were so many crocodiles and then baby crocs again. I had to remove the key of one baby croc. So I played with the crocodiles. I don't want to play again with the crocodiles," she laughed.
When asked if there was any stunt she would love to experience again, Jasmin said no challenge on the show is ever easy. "Every stunt is damn difficult and painful," she said.
However, one task from her very first season still holds a special place in her heart. "I think it would be the first stunt that I did in my first season climbing the pillar and then getting on the nets and then coming down with the flags," she shared.
Calling it one of her proudest moments on the show, Jasmin added, "That was my first stunt and I am very proud that I could do it because that looked impossible. It was so windy that it was very difficult to jump on the net, but I did it. That would be fun for me."
