Kunickaa Sadanand
Kunickaa Sadanand has emerged as one of the most controversial contestants of Bigg Boss 19. From nasty fights with Tanya to arguments with Gaurav Khanna, she has been in headlines for several reasons. Now, a statement of her blaming heroines for rapes in Bollywood has gone viral and Kumar Sanu's son, Jaan Kumar Sanu has bashed her.
In a resurfaced interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kunickaa Sadanand said, "Humari industry main na, main aisa maanti hoon, ki rape nahi hota hai. Kahi na kahi ladki ki taraf se bhi ek ishara hota hai. I've never heard of anybody being raped who has been clear and straightforward. I've always been clear and straightforward. Boss, mujhe kisi bhi keemat pe heroine nahi banna hai."
Reacting to it, Kumar Sanu's son, Jaan Kumar Sanu, wrote, "She did this herself her whole life. With married men and whoever she could get hands on. Mooh kholna nahi hai zyada. Bohot dhotiya khul jaayenge phir."
For those unversed, Kunickaa Sadanand was in a six-year-long relationship with singer Kumar Sanu while he was still married.
Sharing how her bond with Kumar Sanu was emotional, the actress shared in an interview, "He didn't want to break his marriage or leave his children. I reminded him of his responsibilities towards his kids and work. I think that moment brought us closer," she said.
Out of respect for Sanu's family, the relationship was kept largely private. "We only appeared in public when performing at shows together. I helped select his clothes and managed arrangements for his performances. I was like his wife and considered him like my husband. It felt like a relationship similar to Shakuntala and Dushyant. But later, I discovered things about him that broke my heart," Kunickaa added.
She also revealed the tense interactions with Sanu's then-wife, Rita Bhattacharya. "His wife smashed my car with a hockey stick. She would come outside my house and scream. But I understood her. She wanted money for her children; she wasn't wrong. She said she didn't want him back."
