Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa had been making headlines with its controversies, contestants, as well as rumours of fresh wildcard. Recently, some reports suggested that Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz and MTV Splitsvilla star Ruru Thakur, who was once linked to current contestant Yogesh Rawat, might soon enter. After the speculations circulated, Asim has taken to social media to clarify the news and put all rumours to rest.
Several unverified reports claimed that Asim Riaz and Ruru Thakur are likely to enter Lock Upp as wildcard contestants. The rumours picked up steam after social media pages shared the reports claiming that the makers were keen on adding more spice and controversy to the ongoing season.
However, Asim took to his Instagram story on Wednesday, July 15, to deny the rumours. He shared a note wherein he wrote, "Bigg Boss was my last reality show. Period." With that, he not only shut down the current rumours, but he also ruled out the possibility of joining any other reality show in future.
On the other hand, there is no confirmation yet regarding Ruru Thakur's entry in the show. For the unversed, Ruru rose to fame through MTV Splitsvilla X5 and later returned as a wildcard on Splitsvilla X6. Her previous connection with Yogesh Rawat, who is currently inside the Lock Upp jail with girlfriend Akanksha Choudhary, has got fans excited, expecting fresh drama if she enters.
Notably, neither Netflix nor the show's team has officially announced anything yet.
Asim Riaz shot to fame with his participation in Bigg Boss 13, where his friendship with Siddharth Shukla and his relationship with Himanshi Khurrana grabbed headlines. He even finished as first runner-up in the Salman Khan-hosted show. Later, he was seen taking on stunts in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14, hosted by Rohit Shetty. He joined the daredevil show; however, his participation soon turned controversial after he refused to complete a task. He even got into a heated argument with fellow contestant Abhishek Kumar. Additionally, he even reportedly ignored the host, Rohit Shetty's instructions, eventually leading to his early departure from the show.
