Shreya Kalra has ruled out participating in Bigg Boss after her recent Lock Upp victory, making it clear that she needs a break from reality television. The influencer, who emerged as the winner of Lock Upp, addressed the speculation surrounding her possible entry into Salman Khan's popular reality show and said she is currently not interested in taking up another stint as a contestant.
Speaking to her followers on her Instagram channel, Shreya said, "I am not planning to do any reality TV show as a contestant right now." She also opened up about the demanding experience of being inside the Lock Upp house, describing the journey as "mentally taxing" and "very taxing."
Responding to repeated questions about whether she would participate in Bigg Boss 20, Shreya shared a voice note on her Instagram channel, Clock It With Shreya. She said, "Doston, jo mujhse puch raha hai main Bigg Boss jaungi ki nahi- Main just abhi ek pagalkhane se nikal ke aayi hoon."
She further clarified her stance by saying, "It was mentally exhausting and very taxing to abhi to nahi, no Bigg Boss for me." Her comments suggest that after spending an extended period in a high-pressure reality show environment, she is not ready to immediately return to a similar setup.
However, Shreya has not completely closed the door on reality television. While she does not want to compete as a contestant, she said she would be interested in exploring other opportunities within the genre. "I would love to do that but contestant No," she said.
The Lock Upp winner added that she could consider taking on roles such as a host, mentor or gang leader in the future. This marks a possible shift in her reality-TV journey, with Shreya showing interest in being part of shows without having to undergo the intense experience of competing inside a house.
Apart from Bigg Boss, Shreya also addressed questions about her personal life and marriage plans. She revealed that marriage is not happening immediately, although she and Rishabh Jaiswal have discussed their future. "Shaadi abhi nahi but soon ham karenge plaan. Right now we are working on our careers," she said.
She also jokingly added, "Jab mujhe wo solitaire diamond milega Rishabh ki taraf se, definitely I'm gonna say yes and we will do it."
Shreya won Lock Upp and took home the trophy along with a Rs 1 crore cash prize, with Shivangi Joshi finishing as the first runner-up and Yogesh Rawat securing the second runner-up position.
