TV serial Naagin 7 recently caught the eye of fans and trolls after a scene from its latest episode went viral. The scene accidentally showed the blue screen without the VFX effects. After the scene was aired on TC and streamed on JiHotstar, the makers received a lot of backlash and trolling. Actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who portrays the role of an icchadhari naagin in the hit serial, has now reacted to the goof-up in episode 38 titled Radhika's Deadly Betrayal.
During a recent interaction, the paparazzi questioned Priyanka about the blunder. Reacting to the goof-up, the actress joked, "Accha, humne bhi dekha, oh, aapne bhi dekha? Wow…" before saying, "Human error hai… Ab dekho, kya hi keh sakte hain? Is cheez par kaam kiya ja raha hai taaki future mein aisi galti na ho. Guys, human error hai, ho jaata hai kabhi kabhi."
Notably, the editing error appeared during an important moment featuring the actress in the episode and quickly went viral as viewers shared clips online. The glitch was visible during a key sequence where VFX was supposed to create a jungle backdrop. However, instead of the edited visuals, viewers could see the raw blue screen typically used during filming. Many users on the internet pointed out that instead of jungle VFX, the makers seemingly forgot to add effects altogether. The clip reignited criticism about the show's declining quality.
Prior to Priyanka, producer Ektaa Kapoor also reacted to the backlash earlier on Tuesday. Ektaa reacted by sharing a meme about the editing error, featuring a dramatic scene of a Naagin turning into a dragon and breathing fire. The caption on the video read, "Ekta Ma'am on her way to the office from Thailand after yesterday's Naagin blue screen mistake by the editors." She posted the video on Instagram Stories with the caption "Eggjacctlyyy (Exactly)," poking fun at the viral blue screen glitch.
Following the backlash, the makers have rectified the error. As a result, the blue raw version is no longer visible on the episode currently streaming. Meanwhile, producer Ektaa Kapoor has earlier confirmed that the ongoing seventh season of Naagin will end on June 7.
