In a tragic turn of events, a fire broke out at Roadies and Bigg Boss fame Shiv Thakare's Goregaon residence. The fire caused extensive damage, and videos and pictures of the house have been circulating on social media. The incident has left Shiv's fans worried. The actor has now shared a note detailing the mishap and has assured fans that he is safe.

The visuals from inside Shiv Thakare's house showed charred interiors, indicating that the blaze was intense and caused heavy loss. Fire brigade officials were seen inspecting the site to determine how the fire started.

A statement from his team after the incident read: "Shiv Thakare faced a mishap this morning as there was a fire breakout at his Mumbai residence in the Kolte Patil Verve building. The actor has not incurred any injury, but the house faced the brunt!"

He has now shared a statement on his Instagram Stories, saying: "Due to a short circuit, my living room caught fire, but now everything is under control! Thank you so much for your care and concern. Bappa ke kripa se, I am safe and completely fine. Nothing has happened to me. Ganpati Bappa Morya!"

About the incident at Shiv's place

As per reports in Hindustan Times, a source said, "The building (Kolte Patil Verve, Goregaon) that Shiv has been staying in has been facing electrical issues for quite some time now. Shiv, on multiple occasions, brought this issue to the building management's notice, but they were not ready to help. Today also, when the fire broke out, nothing was functioning properly - from the water sprinkler to the fire alarm. The only good thing is that Shiv wasn't in the area that caught fire," the source shared, adding, "He is not harmed but is indeed shaken up."

The source further added, "There was a short circuit at his place. Shiv stays on the 12th floor; luckily, he was in the bedroom while the incident occurred in the drawing room. It's completely the building authorities' fault."

Shiv Thakare was recently seen in the music video Rajj Rajj Nachan. Sung by Divya Kumar, Ishika Hirve, and Sikandar Maan, the dance track is set against the backdrop of a pre-wedding ceremony. The music video stars Shiv alongside Rashami Desai.
