Actor Shoaib Ibrahim's father suffered another stroke and has also been admitted to the ICU. Sharing the worrisome health update, the actor urged netizens to pray for his father, as the next 24 hours are believed to be extremely critical for him. Sharing another update, Shoaib revealed that his father is currently battling a brain hemorrhage and remains under close medical supervision. Amid this difficult phase, the actor also opened up about wife Dipika Kakar's ongoing health concerns.
In his vlog posted on Monday, Shoaib said, "As you all know, my father has been hospitalised after he suffered a stroke. We initially thought it was a stroke, but this time it turned out to be a brain hemorrhage. He is not doing well. The last time he had a stroke, there was a blood clot in his brain, which paralysed him on the left side. But he was talking, and he recovered quickly. However, this time, there has been a lot of bleeding, and it has spread, causing speech issues for him."
Shoaib said his father is currently under close medical observation, and doctors are waiting for the swelling in his brain to reduce before performing a crucial procedure. He added, "Papa is not reacting at all. The swelling has reduced, and they will perform a procedure on his brain. They will make a hole in his skull and remove the blood clots so that they do not spread. They are waiting for the swelling to subside. They don't want to rush things; they are closely monitoring him for two days."
Things are not going well for the Ibrahim family, as Dipika recently battled stage 2 liver cancer. As part of her treatment, she underwent tumour removal surgery in June 2025. Shoaib said that it is a difficult time for the family and that they feel God is testing them one after another. However, he added that he has faith in God and in everyone's prayers, expressing hope that everything will eventually be fine.
Sharing an update on Dipika Kakar's health condition, he said, "Dipika also has a PET scan today, and we are tense about it. As we told you earlier, the MRI had shown some signs of concern."
