Sumona Chakravarti to enter 'Jamai Raja' as Misha Grewal

Sumona Chakravarti is all set to appear on 'Jamai Raja' and has been signed up for the role of Misha Grewal, an old friend of Ravi Dubey's character Siddharth.

Her character, Misha, will be a vibrant, spunky and fun-loving girl. Her presence is expected to be instrumental in changing the equation between Siddharth and Roshni, played by Nia Sharma.

Back to the grind of daily soaps after a gap of more than a year, Sumona says, "I am really excited to be a part of 'Jamai Raja'. After my last show, I wanted to choose something different in the fiction space as an actor and when I was approached for the role of Misha, I agreed doing it instantly as I loved my character. It is a challenge for an actor to enter a show where the key characters have already endeared themselves to the audiences. I truly hope my character also gets as much love and praise as the other actors have received on the show since its launch."

Sumona further adds, "With my entry, viewers will see a lot more intriguing drama unfold in the show and will keep them glued to their television screens, as she will be play a crucial role in changing the dynamics between Sid and Roshni."
