In an industry where glamour often takes centre stage, it's refreshing to see someone who balances fame with humility. Mohitt Maalik has always been known for his intensity on screen, but it's his conduct off-screen that quietly sets him apart.
At a time when thinking about others is becoming increasingly rare, Mohitt makes an exception. The holy month of Ramadan is currently being observed, and while Mohitt himself is a Hindu, the helpers at his home are fasting. Instead of staying distant from the ritual, he chose to be part of their special moment.
In a beautiful glimpse that has surfaced, Mohitt is seen sitting at the dining table with his helpers during Iftar. As they prepare to break their roza, they raise their hands in prayer. Beside them, Mohitt folds his hands respectfully, joining them in silence and gratitude. It's a simple image, yet it carries a powerful message of harmony and mutual respect.
There's something incredibly moving about that frame: different faiths, one table, shared prayers. No big statements, no loud declarations. Just genuine respect. In times when divisions often make more noise than unity, gestures like these feel even more meaningful.
On the professional front, Mohitt is equally unstoppable. After making his Bollywood debut with Azaad last year, the actor has an impressive lineup ahead. He will next be seen in Mirzapur: The Film, the much-awaited big screen adaptation of the popular franchise. He is also part of Netflix's Yeh Dil Sunn Raha, and is rumoured to be stepping into a negative role in Force 3.
Speaking about his experience on set, Mohitt said, "I was nervous on the first day. I know the director, Gurmmeet [Singh], very well - we've wanted to work together for a long time. He's like an angel. When you meet Puneetji [Krishna], who is the showrunner and writer of Mirzapur, you wouldn't believe how sweet he is. The team is warm and welcoming. Everyone feels secure in their craft. I've always been a huge fan of Pankajji [Tripathi]. The shoot will continue till January 2026. My character is something no one has seen in Mirzapur before."
