The Revolutionaries first look
The official first look for the upcoming period drama The Revolutionaries has dropped, and it paints a promising picture. It boasts a power-packed cast including Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah.
The first look offers a glimpse into the upcoming series, which has been adapted from Sanjeev Sanyal's celebrated and widely acclaimed book, Revolutionaries: The Other Story of How India Won Its Freedom. It brings forth the powerful story of brave young Indian freedom fighters who stuck by the idea that armed resistance was not just vital but indispensable for ending the rule of the British in the country.
The Revolutionaries play a heart-touching tribute to their extraordinary lives, sacrifices, and their unwavering, undying love and passion for their country. Notably, the series is currently on floors and is reportedly being mounted on a grand scale. The filming is taking place across multiple locations in India, including Mumbai, Amritsar, Varanasi, Dehradun, and more. The Revolutionaries is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries worldwide in 2026.
Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video, India, while presenting the first-look said, "India's rich history is filled with stories of courage, valour and sacrifice - many of which have been lost to time.
