Reality show contestant and influencer Shreya Kalra has made a surprising claim about actor Kushal Tandon, alleging that he reached out to her on Instagram while he was reportedly in a relationship with actress Shivangi Joshi. Shreya opened up about the incident during a recent episode, revealing that what began as a casual conversation eventually led to an awkward confrontation with Shivangi after she allegedly read their chats.
Recalling how the interaction began, Shreya said she first met Kushal during a promotional shoot. According to her, the actor later contacted her on social media. "After our promo shoot, Kushal texted me. He slid into my DMs and we started talking," she said, adding that she viewed the conversations as friendly and professional.
The influencer then claimed that things took an unexpected turn when Shivangi Joshi came across their messages. "Shivangi read my whole chat," Shreya alleged, explaining that the actress later questioned her about the conversations. Shreya maintained that she had no intention of getting involved in anyone's relationship and insisted that there was nothing inappropriate from her side.
Speaking further about the incident, Shreya said she was taken aback by the situation. "I told her there was nothing from my side. We were just talking," she claimed, reiterating that she never tried to encourage Kushal or cross any boundaries. She added that online conversations are often misunderstood, especially when they involve public figures.
Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi reportedly fell in love while working together on the television drama Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka. The actor confirmed their relationship in 2024, and the pair remained together until reports of their breakup surfaced in 2025. Kushal had briefly acknowledged the split through a social media post that was later deleted, while Shivangi never publicly addressed the breakup directly.
At the time of publishing, neither Kushal Tandon nor Shivangi Joshi has reacted to Shreya Kalra's latest claims. The allegations remain unverified and are based solely on Shreya's account. Fans continue to speculate about the revelations, but an official response from either Kushal or Shivangi is still awaited.
