Krystle D'Souza and Rida Tharana win season 2 of Karan Johar's show as traitors, take home Rs 66 lakh

The Traitors Season 2 has finally concluded, crowning Krystle D'Souza and Rida Tharana as the winners. During the final round of Circle of Shaq, the TV actress betrayed Shalini Passi and saved fellow traitor Rida. With only Krystle and Rida left in the game, the two won the game as traitors.

Rida Tharana and Krystle D'Souza win The Traitors Season 2

Krystle and Rida won the Karan Johar-hosted show and shared the whopping prize money of Rs 66 lakh after a major twist in the finale. During the finale task, Karan Johar announced that the contestants had one final opportunity to add money to the prize pot, and win up to Rs 25 lakh in the task.

The contestants were expected to find gold bars hidden inside the clothes of camels placed across the task area. After finding the bars, they had to defuse a detonator. Karan announced that the contestants had managed to win Rs 17.6 lakh, taking the final prize pot to Rs 66 lakh, after the task was completed.

The final five contestants were Dalip Tahil, Shalini Passi, Krystle D'Souza, Rida Tharana and Sahil Salathia. Dalip initiated the final Circle of Shaq, however, the game soon turned against him as the other contestants voted him out.

The remaining four contestants then entered the final Trust or Shaq round. According to the rules, they had to eliminate one contestant based on the majority vote, and the game would continue as long as even one contestant chose Shaq. The game would end only when everyone left chose Trust.

The contestants voted out Sahil. Following his elimination, Krystle and Rida chose Trust, while Shalini opted for Shaq, convinced that a Traitor was still in the game. Krystle, who played impressively throughout the season, then made the biggest move of the game by choosing to betray Shalini and voted against her, leading to her elimination. With only Krystle and Rida as the final two contestants, they chose trust. The two then revealed their identities, confirming that both of them were Traitors.

The Traitors Season 2

The second season of The Traitors kicked off on August 13 with 21 contestants, namely, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Abhishek Malhan, Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Krystle D'souza, Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Parul Gulati, Prish, Ranveer Brar, Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Sahil Salathia, Shahneel Gill, Shalini Passi,Shweta Tiwari, Soundous Moufakir, and Tanya Puri.
