Energy levels soared in Mumbai when Grammy Award-winning DJ Afrojack opened his India tour with a thunderous set at Jio World Drive, in BKC, on November 28.
The multi-platinum DJ delivered a masterclass in performance, seamlessly blending his timeless hits with his newest chart-dominating releases. Alongside classics like âTake Over Control', âThe Spark' and âNo Beef', the crowd erupted to his recent global favourites including âWish You Were Here', âOut Of The Darkness', âHold On' and his festival edits that have been dominating mainstages worldwide.
For the Mumbai audience the alignment of visuals, sound and energy brought an unmatched high. Fans danced shoulder-to-shoulder, phones raised, capturing moments that will likely dominate social media feeds for days. Even during quieter melodic builds, the collective roar never faded, proving just how deeply this city embraces electronic music culture.
Visually, the concert was a full-scale sensory experience with splashes of vibrant colours, pulsating LED walls and a futuristic set created a hyper-sensory playground - refreshing, bold and full of life.
Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn, said, "Afrojack has been an integral part of our journey and this tour reaffirms why he remains one of the most influential architects of modern electronic music. The energy and scale we witnessed reflect not just his global stature, but also the evolving appetite of Indian audiences who are embracing world-class, next-gen dance music experiences."
It was no different in Bengaluru and Delhi, where he concluded the three-city Smirnoff Lemon Pop Non-Alcoholic Experience ft. Afrojack Tour, produced and promoted by Sunburn.
