Celebrated singer Akon is currently in India on a three-city India tour to perform some of his greatest hits till now. While he has already landed in the country, and even performed in Delhi, he is all set to perform in Mumbai, before heading to Bengaluru for his final performance.
It is an exciting time for music concerts in India, especially Mumbai, as Mumbaikars only recently witnessed Enrique Iglesias live for the first time in 21 years. Music concert fans are getting ready for a busy season that not only includes Enrique, but also Passenger, and Travis Scott, later this month.
Before that, here's everything you need to know about Akon's Mumbai concert:
Akon Mumbai concert date, time and venue
Returning to India after a year, Akon, who performed at the Cherry Blossom Festival in 2024, will be performing in Mumbai on Sunday, November 16 at NESCO Hall 6 in Goregaon starting 7 pm in a three-hour English language concert.
Tickets for the Mumbai concert
While the tickets for the silver category are sold out, fans can avail of the gold, fan pit, wheelchair-access, and lounge tickets starting at Rs 6,999 and go all the way up to Rs 19,999. You can purchase up to 10 tickets per transaction.
While entry is for the indoor performance is for all ages, tickets are required for those above 5 years of age. It is kid-friendly but not pet-friendly.
Essential guidelines
The performance does not have any seating arrangement as it is a standing arrangement. For People with Disabilities, there is wheelchair accessibility with the help of ramps.
Food and beverages, along with alcohol will be available at the venue, as it is with other music concerts and festival.
Travel hacks
The Mumbai local train is the fastest, cheapest and easiest mode of transport to NESCO. If you are travelling on the Western and Harbour line, then you can get down at the Ram Mandir station. While you can avail of the auto-rickshaw, Hall 6 is walking distance, and you can follow every concert-goer who will be making a bee line to the venue.
Using the Metro is also an easier way to get to the concert venue. Get off the Goregaon East metro station, which is on the Red Line, or also known as Mumbai Metro Line 7.
Last but not the least, you can also take the Western Express Highway to get to the venue.
