What's it about?
La Fête de la Musique is an international phenomenon celebrated on the same day in more than 460 cities in 110 countries, including Germany, Italy, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, South Africa and Australia among others. The first Fête de la Musique was launched way back in 1982 with the idea of bringing people together to make or to enjoy music. Since 2013, the Pune Municipal Corporation has been enthusiastically involved in the festival, and will organise music performances at historical monuments, shopping malls as well as restaurants and pubs, free of any charge.
