Spotify RAP91 LIVE, a music festival that celebrates India's rap scene, returns for its fifth edition this year, exclusively for the app's premium subscribers. RAP 91, the music streaming platform's flagship hip hop playlist in India is bringing together a diverse lineup of artists and voices from across the country in Mumbai on October 24.

Over the past five years, RAP91 LIVE has grown into a platform that reflects the breadth of Indian hip hop, bringing more than 130 artists to its stage, from over 25 cities and regions across India, performing in more than 15 languages.

The music festival is one of other's by streaming platform including Spotify I-Pop Icons Live, celebrating and showcasing Indian pop music that is reshaping listening habits in India.

All you need to know about the lineup

At RAP91 LIVE this year, artists from across India will take the stage, performing in nine languages.

The lineup includes some of the fastest-rising names in Indian hip hop as well some of the biggest names in hip-hop including DIVINE, Arivu, Panther, Real Boss, Hammy Muzic, Rocksun, Iqbal, OtaaL, Rawme Hooda, Hardbone boy, Bhaktaaa, Prathamesh, Anohnymouss, STIC, Siroyi, Bhadrankar, VENGAYO, Gamak Sinha, Jelo, Saniya MQ, ARUN YDV, Arinar Black, and JaiKishan.

RAP91 LIVE echoes RAP 91, Spotify's flagship hip hop playlist in India. Language-neutral, it shines a spotlight on voices from every corner of the country.

Over the last two years, the RAP 91 flagship playlist has grown by over 36 per cent and today has more than 470,000 followers. The hip hop ecosystem on the app includes seven language-specific RAP 91 playlists, in Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Haryanvi, Tamil, Marathi, and Bhojpuri.

Over the past year, the language-specific RAP 91 playlists have grown strongly, a sign of rising demand for hip hop across Indian languages. RAP 91 Marathi has grown by over 155 per cent, RAP 91 Bhojpuri by over 52 per cent, and RAP 91 Haryanvi by over 23 per cent..
