"Our milieu is full of art, and the museum is one fine example of it. Being a major centre for cultural activities, we want people to engage with the art that surrounds them and draw inspiration from it," says Kulkarni. The first workshop in the series will have eminent sculptor Arzan Khambatta conduct a session, Sculptures from Scrap.

These weekend sessions are targeted at adults, but open to art enthusiasts above 14 years. Khambatta will focus on the participants' personal engagement with materials and teach them to make engaging 3D objects using scrap. Kulkarni says, "With the help of expert guidance and all materials provided by the museum, participants will learn fun new ways to utilise articles to create works of art."
